The Spirit of Cricket award is judged by the umpires for all grade cricket competitions.
Teams are awarded points between plus-3 and minus-1 based on the following guidelines:
1. Captain's acceptance of their responsibility of their player's behaviour as required under the Laws of Cricket.
2. A team's adherance to the principles of the Spirit of the Game [includes respect for team mates, opponents and umpires role.
3. Acceptance of umpires decision.
Points are tallied on a match by match basis and at the end of the season, a Spirit of Cricket trophy will be awarded to the club with the most points.
